$1125 weekly pay guarantee (for 8 weeks)
The entire fleet averages $1,300 weekly, which includes many veteran drivers. New drivers may take some time to learn our operation, customers, rails, processes and $1,200 weekly is a more realistic expectation for new drivers..
405 cpm – increase .015 cpm yearly to top out at 51 cpm. Paid on all HUB miles.
$37 Drop & Hook
$54 Live Load/Unload
$50 Congestion pay to go to CT
$75 Congestion pay for loads in the NY boroughs
$17 Detention or rail delay pay
$45 Driver load/unload: We discourage driver unloads as much as possible but in the event a lumper is not available at a customer, drivers will be paid for unloading product
$25 Hazmat load
$70,000 yearly avg – Top 10% make $80,000+
Ramp Specific Training After Orientation: We do a minimum of 5 days training, but it depends on the driver and we’ll keep them out as long as they need to feel comfortable. We pay them activity based pay just like if they were driving the truck.
Can choose schedule from these: Sun-Thurs (off Fri/Sat), Tues-Sat (off Sun/Mon) or Fri-Tues (off Wed/Thurs)
4pm – 11pm start time – Must be flexible for start times – Drivers need to be flexible to occasionally run other shift as needed
Drivers can expect to work 10-11 hour days.
Work on days off is optional
Will take loaded rail containers from the ramp to customers within a 250 mile radius
Will also pick up loaded containers to bring back to the ramp for shipment across the U.S.
Service area includes, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, Long Island. PA, NY and CT. **Must be able and willing to service all of these areas. Drivers are not allowed to exclude themselves from going to any of the above or refuse any dispatches that they can safely and legally service **
HAZMAT endorsement required within 60 days after orientation. Cost of Hazmat will be reimbursed once the endorsement is on their license. Regarding HAZMAT. Once the employee provides their new license w/the endorsement & paid receipt, we will now reimburse $86.50 for NJ license. That reimbursement covers: testing, fingerprinting, threat assessment, and background checks.
NO NY DRIVERS.
Truck stays at the yard for time off.
We do not allow riders on this position.
This is a slip seat operation.
Drivers receive 18 paid days off (12 PTO days and 6 holidays at a rate of $15 per hr for 8 hrs = $120)
After 1st year, drivers receive 22 paid days off (16 PTO days 6 holidays at a rate of their 52 week $/hour work average)
