Starting pay: 45 cpm – pay increase 0.10 cpm yearly up to 50 cpm – Avg 2200 miles/wk, but drivers could run as many as 2800 miles per week if utilizing hours and setting ETA’s properly.
$15 Detention for 1st hour and $20 every hour after (detention does not start until 1.5 hours has passed)
$35 drop/hook (70% of loads are drop/hook)
$65 live load/unload (detention still applies) (30% of loads are live load/unload)
$15/hr rail delay pay (delay pay does not start until 1 hour has passed)
$15/hr breakdown pay (from time of breakdown until repair)
$15/hr empty search pay (after the first assigned location)
$20 hazmat load
$1440 weekly avg.

Training will last 5 days and is payable at $150 per day – The trainer will contact you shortly after completing orientation.
6 paid holidays for those who have completed one consecutive year of employment.
Drivers will be paid a flat holiday rate $190 per day.
Drivers must be active status, full time.
Drivers may still be required to work on the holiday, depending on availability.
Drivers must be available for dispatch the day before and after the holiday, if those days are regularly scheduled workdays.
Time off / Shift:
Up to 48 hours off in a rolling week – Example: Start Tuesday at 0500, then home Sunday at 0500 and driver can be off UP TO 48 hours upon arrival at home.
Drivers can pick any 2 consecutive days off (48 hours) except for Sat/Sun. Drivers can have Fri/Sat, Sun/Mon.
Weekend Shift Bonus: Regional drivers will be given an additional 100 per week worked if they have a Thursday – Monday or Friday – Tuesday schedule (Tues/Wed or Wed/Thur off) This works out to a 5K per year increase
Home during the week for 10 hour break as long as hours allow and you are near your home. Getting home during the week for 10 hour break may not be possible for all drivers as it depends on freight and where you live. Drivers living within 20 miles of Cedar Rapids or near the route between Chicago and Cedar Rapids have a better chance of getting home during the week.
The fleet operates back and forth between IA, IL, WI and MN – 80% of the time, driver will operate between IA and IL (& surrounding 13 rail ramps in Chicago area) – There are 6 main rail ramps in these markets. Drivers will also make the occasional run to St Paul MN, MO and WI rail ramps.
All freight is on Container/Chassis combination
Hazmat is required within 60 days of hire – ramp will reimburse the cost
No touch freight.
Drivers will operate conventional mid-roof sleepers, that cruise at 65 m.p.h., average 1 year 7 months old.& take it home for time off.
